Transformers 2: Shia LaBeouf Injured by Real Robot On Set!
In Production By Neil Miller on October 1, 2008 | (10) Comments
File this under the header, “What is Newsworthy About This?” That, or we can chalk it up to “Neil is running out of ideas for articles today, so this will have to do.” The bastion of journalistic integrity that is TMZ.com is reporting today that Shia LaBeouf suffered a minor injury at the hands of one of the non-CGI robots on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
According to the report, Shia was smacked in the face by a prop on set, leading to a gash below his eyebrow that required stitches. After getting sewn up, he went right back to work without delay. This is the second injury suffered by LaBeouf during shooting, but as you might remember, his hand injury occurred outside the set in a car accident in Los Angeles.
In other news, Megan Fox is still doing just fine — no bumps or bruises, just hotness. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters on June 26, 2009.
