Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn in Four Christmases

Warner Bros. has just sent over the first trailer for their upcoming comedy Four Christmases, which stars Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon as a well-to-do couple who has made a tradition out of avoiding their families at Christmas time. Only this year, they are grounded by cancelled flights and forced to deal with their respective family units. It’s a relatively unoriginal story that seems like it might work. What it has going for it is a solid cast, that includes Vaughn and Witherspoon, along with Robert Duvall, Kristin Chenoweth, Sissy Spacek, Mary Steenburgen and what I can only describe as a ridiculous appearance by Iron Man director Jon Favreau. It’s one of those things that you just have to see to believe, so see it for yourself below.

Four Christmases hits theaters on November 26th. It is directed by King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters director Seth Gordon.

What do you think of the first trailer for Four Christmases?

I might have to go see this just because of Favreau. That was insane...

That looks really silly. What a waste of a good cast. I'll wait for cable.
  • Academy Award Winner Reese Witherspoon everybody!

Stop the press: Possibly a decent Christmas film.
Stop all media outlets: Possibly a decent Christmas film with Vince Vaughn in it.

HAh!! I love that part wit the brothers acting dumb as UFC fans. On point! And the baby vomiting on Reese!!

This looks like its intended demographic is trailer trash. It really looks stupid and with such talented people and a good premise it is too bad really but Reese in the moon bounce and the baby vomit? Seriously is this passing for humor?
  • Vince Vaughn deserves to win "The Most Spaztastic" award every year... whether he makes a movie that year or not
