Back in early August we gave you a first look at a few photos from the upcoming thriller Passengers, starring Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson. At that point, all we knew was that the film was about a young psychologist (Hathaway) who is assigned to mentor and treat a group of survivors from a terrible plane crash. Among them is Eric (Patrick Wilson), a man whose life has been changed by the event, in more ways than one.

Now, thanks to a brand new trailer debuted over on Reelz Channel yesterday afternoon, we have a little bit more of an idea as to what this film is all about. As you will see below, it goes into the realm of the supernatural — which makes it look very interesting. And while I generally hold judgment on psycho-supernatural thrillers like this, because we have all been disappointed by them before, I will say that I’m interested to see how this one plays out. Have a look for yourself below.

Passengers is directed by Rodrigo Garcia, and is written by Ronnie Christensen. Along with Hathaway and Wilson, it will also star Andre Braugher. It is scheduled to hit theaters on October 24th.

What do you think of the first trailer for Passengers?
