Thompson on Hollywood has the trailer for the upcoming film Reservation Road, which, to my thinking, could only look better if the title was Jennifer Connelly Naked for 120 Minutes.

I try to not be a pig. I really try. But she makes it so hard. I mean… she makes it tough. To not be a pig, that is. Did I type that out loud?

Anyway, Reservation Road is a revenge drama from Terry George, whose previous film, Hotel Rwanda, hit the screens with a double-fisted dragon punch of awesome. Joaquin Phoenix stars alongside the above mentioned Connelly, but the real story is Mark Ruffalo, who was pretty damned great in Zodiac. Reservation Road looks like another step up the ladder toward great things for him.

Based on a novel by John Burnham Schwartz, there seems to be some concern on the intrawebs that the film will be confused with Sam Mendes’ upcoming release, Revolutionary Road, based on a novel by Richard Yates. Personally, I think the audiences that might be drawn to these films are not the types to be so easily confused, but just in case, here’s a handy guide to keeping it all straight, as posted on Buzz Sugar.

Reservation Road hits theaters on October 19.
