Trailer Watch: Dear Zachary, One of 2008′s Best Films
First Look By Brian C. Gibson on October 27, 2008 | (4) Comments
We made a trek down to Austin, Texas earlier this year for the South By Southwest Film Festival. We saw many films, and even made a list of the Ten Best Films of SXSW. Neil and I argued the entire trip home on the #1 film of SXSW, and he eventually won out. However, I can tell you with great confidence that Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father is one of the most emotionally powerful films I have ever seen. I was overjoyed to see that not only did the film pick up a distributor, Oscilloscope Laboratories, but a trailer has also hit the mainstream. Oscilloscope has also picked up another one of our SXSW favorites Frontrunners. Check out the trailer and the freshly released poster below and make sure to check out the film when it makes it to a theater near you.
