Trailer Alert: Employee of the Month

I just got word of a new trailer for the upcoming comedy Employee of the Month. The film appears to be your run-of-the-mill “guy meets girl, guy has to beat other guy to get girl” story. The real potential is in the fact that it does star comedian Dane Cook as Zack, a stock boy at a discount retail store who tries to woo over Amy, played by the spacy but curvacious Jessica Simpson. The only thing standing in his way is all-star employee Vince, played by Without a Paddle’s Dax Shepard. While Cook is untested as a lead actor, he did add some flair to last year’s hit comedy Waiting. We can only wait and hope on this one, as it has a solid cast and sets itself up well for laughs.
