Time to Crank That New ‘Fast and Furious’ Trailer

Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious

What happens when you bring back Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) back together eight years after their first run together in The Fast and the Furious? You end up “Supermaning that hoe,” Souldja Boy style. This high-energy dose of nostalgia and burnt motor oil is going to serve as the full theatrical trailer to Fast and Furious. From Tokyo Drift director Justin Lin, the fourth film reunites the core original cast members, including Diesel, Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. This second trailer explains a little bit more about what has brought O’Conner and Toretto back together, but we are still in the dark as to who or what they are chasing. I’m sure all will be explained through mucho macho dialog and latinas in short skirts. Not that I’m complaining.

Fast & Furious hits theaters on April 3, 2009. Have a gander at the new trailer below, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

sounds like youve never seen the first one...have you btw?

couldnt help but smile. been a fan of the series since the start, cant wait. the special fx were a little cheesy at the end with the exploding tanker, but lets hope they polish all that stuff off before its release.
  • A 3 story tackle through a mini-van and no one is hurt. Awesome. The lines about Jurisdiction and things changing - terrible. Supermaning that hoe - always.
  • I actually liked the first one. Now the other two were total crap but with the original cast and a good script then you can't go wrong with VIn and Michelle.

Soulja Boy... I thought we were done with this Soulja Boy?

The first one was a great popcorn flick. Easy to watch and be entertained but not much substance. The second was a good popcorn flick. The third was one of the worse movies I have ever seen. Popcorn flicks plots never make sense but this one went to a whole new level of "are you kidding me?".

I hope this one returns to the roots of the first. A simple plot that makes somewhat sense with some cool racing and action scenes. Im not looking for a cinematic masterpiece, im just looking for a good piece of entertainment.
  • I hope this is as cool as the first one...Soulja Boy? Seriously? I was tempted to watch the damn thing on mute...
