Michael Bay has released three awesome new television spots for his upcoming film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on his own personal website this evening.

At first glance, there didn’t appear to be a ton of new footage in these — but that’s what I get for watching the second one first. The first and third spots below have some really awesome new shots, including a shot of the SR-71 Blackbird (Jetfire) in the early stages of transforming. That’s in the third clip. In the first we see some smaller, mobile and agile transformers and get a look at one of the Twins talking. The only highlight in the second spot below is a nice little shot of Megan Fox running. Its shallow, I know, but I notice these things. Overall, the three of these all seem to work quite well — as if anyone has any doubts that this film will be awesome.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be in theaters June 24, 2009. Check out the three new spots below.

    ITS UPGRADE TIME!!
  • I watched a spot this morning and it got me all excited. I even like the new Linkin Park song they have created just for the movie. Sounds almost identical to their last song for the movie, but that's cool because I love that song as well.

Woah that Bumblebee yell sent a shiver down my spine.

Love the music in Spot Number One

First spot is lame with the humor and horrible Linkin Park song but the last two spots are excellent.
  • Umm, yeah...Linkin Park tunes just don't cut it.

I'm just glad that we finally got to hear Skids talk. Sounds like Larry the Cable Guy, LOL.

"This is top secret, do not tell my mother"

Looks like the terrible one-liners are still present in the sequel, action looks better than ever though

So that's what they used to replace the geeky fanboy roommate they were threatening...
Could be worse.... Mat Groening could have contributed.
