Man…… when the only character that most people want to see and care about is one of the bad guys… the film's in trouble. Chris Yen is just being what most Asians do in American films… playing a bad person and someone who knows hand-to-hand combat.

The character of Mauler fits Chris Yen perfectly giving her the opportunity to showcare her ranges in acting and her agility in martial arts. I heard she came up with some awesome choreography with her sword in the theatre scene. With Chris Yen kicking ass and sucking her lollipop, it definitely sealed it for me too!! :) This is a must see film.

In addition, it looks like Russell Mulcahy did a great job in setting the retro tone for the movie. A few shots in the trailer look really beautiful. I can't wait to see it!!

I'm up for a good ol' fashioned action flick. Ving and Jane; awesome! While we are on the topic of Tom Jane. I think he should play Roland Deschain if they ever get the Dark Tower series off the ground. They kinda hinted at that possibility in The Mist. But I actually thought of it when I saw The Punisher. He definitely can pull of the mysterious gunslinger our for vengeance.
