Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Rick Baker

On Friday of Comic-Con, I was lucky enough to sneak back into Hall H just in time to catch the panel for The Wolf Man, presented by Universal Studios. There, make-up effects legend Rick Baker took the stage along with stars Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt to show off footage from the upcoming film. I will admit that I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. And now, thanks to the guys over at Trailer Addict, you too can be surprised — at least, I hope so. Check out the Comic-Con footage below:

Stay tuned all this week as we bring you coverage from Comic-Con International. Not only will we be roaming the floor in search of love, but we will have the latest news Live from Hall H, great interviews with some of Hollywood’s hottest stars and random convention shenanigans, courtesy of our Comic-Con Attack Squad! Plus Emily Blunt’s hotness and Hugo Weavings’ Hugoness.

Cole Abaius says:

Sorry team - I was down for this until I heard that Rick Baker wasn’t doing the transformation. Will CGI look incredibly lame? Yes. And the explanation given, that “CGI is the future” so they had to do it, is even lamer.

Rick Baker rules, and I wish the production would have realized that and utilized his genius to the full potential instead of relying on CGI like everyone else.
