I've experienced some audio drop out at several points during the movie on the three disc special edition BluRay on a PS3. I'm not sure if this is a defect in the disc or PS3s decoding of the audio. I'd be interested if anyone else was experiencing the same thing.

Well at least I got to see what I will never spend money to buy. Now I have to figure out how to get the money back I paid at the movie theater for this mess of a reboot.

This looks like it's exactly the Blu-ray release I was hoping for. I frakking loved Star Trek and think that JJ Abrams was the perfect director for the job. Now that I know the release is such a badass one, I will be buying for sure.

Awesome review! I can't wait for this one to hit Tuesday. Star Trek was the best sci-fi film I've seen since The Matrix. Can't wait to get into this Blu-ray myself.
