The Wackness

Even indie movies can do the viral marketing thing — you don’t have to be working on a Dark Knight-sized budget to make some kickass YouTube videos. The following was dropped in my email box this morning by Luke Shapiro, played in the film The Wackness by Josh Peck. It is episode 1, part one of Shapiro’s “Dope Show”, which was mad hot on cable access in New York City back in ’94. In the show, Shapiro and the various characters in and around his apartment complex discuss things that are dope. Check it out below:

As for the film, it hits theaters in the Summer of ’08, on July 3rd. For more information, check out the most recent Wackness trailers and my review of The Wackness from Sundance.
