‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ Trailer Is Pretty Much What You’d Expect
Movie News By Kate Erbland on September 13, 2011 | Be the First To CommentLet’s just be honest here – if you’re into The Twilight Saga, you’re into it. If you’re not into it, well, you’re probably pretty into making fun of it. Luckily for both factions of fanhood, today’s first full-length trailer for the penultimate entry into the massively popular film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer‘s massively popular book series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, delivers everything that anyone could want from it – showcasing some of the film’s most important scenes (you better believe it’s wedding-heavy), alongside some truly boggling facial expressions. It’s, in short, just as vampire batshit crazy as the rest of the franchise has been so far. Maybe even more.
Sink your teeth into the first full trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 after the break.
At this point in the series, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has finally manned up and picked the swoony vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) to be her lifelong mate. And, oh, what a long life she imagines for them, continually pressing ol’ Edward to turn her vamp so they can be together…forever. But Sparkleface has one caveat for their union – keep Bella human, at least for a bit. Vampires are notoriously demanding in matters of the heart. As if cross-species nuptials and teenage marriage weren’t enough to handle, Bella must also deal with all the other humans in her life who somehow don’t know that the entire Cullen clan is comprised of bloodsuckers, the strange young werewolf (Taylor Lautner) who is also in love with her and trying to protect her from his totally pissed off werewolf brethren, the nefarious ruling class of vampires on her ass, a wedding that looks like it was filmed in the lagoon in The Little Mermaid, and who knows what else! What a to-do!
Oh, yeah, and there’s one more thing that threatens to turn Bella and Edward’s beautiful union to a hellish nightmare – she gets knocked up during their honeymoon. With a vampire baby. The mechanics of it aren’t quite worth getting into, but brace yourself, because it’s clearly a painful experience for everyone involved. And it’s only going to get worse.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 opens on November 18. [Yahoo! Movies]
