It seems that over the last year or so we have seen a resurgence of psychological thrillers to spell us from the major outbreak of “torture porn” that has been inhabiting the silver screen. Following along those lines is “The Invasion”, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. It looks to be the uber-creepy tale of a mind-altering epidemic that came from outer space. Kidman plays a psychiatrist fighting to keep her son safe from the infection.
