It is August, and for horror fans that can only mean one thing: time to rev up the hype machine for all of October’s horror spectaculars. And this year, as we have done for 4 years in a row previously, we are staring down the barrel of a another shot from the Saw canon. And once again this year, Lionsgate will be teaming up with Yahoo and the American Red Cross to take your blood, quite literally. They have released a brand new poster, just as they have in years past, promoting the Halloween Blood Drive, which can be seen below:

Hmm… I wonder what that thing does. It certainly doesn’t look like it provides any therapeutic value.

Saw V will be spilling on-screen blood beginning October 24th.
