1. Sherlock Holmes - 55 mil
2. Alvin and the little shits - 45 mil
3. Avatar - 40 mil
4. Up in the Air - 18 mil
5. It's Complicated - 15 mil
6. The Princess and the Frog - 10 mil
7. The Blind Side - 8 mil
8. Nine - 7 mil
9. A Christmas Carol - 5 mil
10. Did You Hear About the Morgans?- 3.5 mil

I have faith in Sherlock, everyone i know wants to see it and it's got some great buzz, however, I think Avatar stole it's thunder so it's tally won't be through the roof but still enough to win. I'm expecting slightly higher numbers than G-force for Alvin, I don't think it can reach the success of the first one though because of the sour taste it left in older people's mouths. Still, it's a big enough release to generate some money, and it's an established franchise. As for Avatar, the two big releases will damage it, but not much.

I usually agree with you, I just feel differently about this one.
