I loved Paranormal Activity. I saw Blair Witch when that first came out and it just didn’t do it for me. The whole cinematography part did not impress me, but I found that Paranormal Activity did it right. However some of my friends disagree with me and say that while PA was a good movie, BWP was a much better overall product especially given that it helped to establish a completely new sub-genre. Good story above, love to see all the press that PA is getting with such a small production budget!

I really hope this movie lives up to it's reputation. I haven't seen a really 'scary' movie in a long time.

Aaaaaannnnnnd we've come full circle!
It's kind of funny that the next logical step after advertising for Blair Witch, then Cloverfield, would be to come full circle to the exploitation trailers of the 50's LOL.

I'm actually kind of stoked to check this out. It looks like a really creative reason to do first person/documentary style camera work, and the sheet sequence was kind freaky. Should be good for a jump or two…

Aaaaannnnndd we’ve come full circle. OF COURSE the logical step from ad campaigns like Blair Witch
and Cloverfield would lead us right back to 1950’s era exploitation style trailers. I LOVE it!

Because of that, I’m actually kind of jazzed to see the flick. It looks like an interesting use of 1st
person/documentary camera work, will probably have some great jump moments, and the sheet
sequence is freaky.

Seeing some really creative/experimental movies getting some good distribution. Ink, Moon, not a
bad time to be an indie film maker…
