The Objective

This weekend, another independent is coming down the limited-release pipes in the form of The Objective. From Daniel Myrick, the director of The Blair Witch Project, the film promises to be a creepy look at a military team discovering an ancient enemy in the deserts of Afghanistan.

Check out the trailer for yourself:

War movie? Horror flick? It’s tough to tell, but the premise sounds pretty promising, and it’s certainly unique, but the jury’s still out on whether it can pull through.

What do you think?

Somehow I already saw this movie, and it was really boring. I had high hopes for it though.
  • Hills have Eyes part 3... looks interesting, a mix of Pitch Black in there..
  • Blair Witch, hmmm, wasn't that a good movie that had a godawful sequel?

It should be "witnessed a phenomenon" not a phenomena.

This is a great movie, if you can deal with ambiguity and enjoy mystery. If you liked Picnic on Hanging Rock or The MothMan Prophecies you'll love this film.
