The ‘Legend’ Cutting Room Cutting it Close

It’s a good thing the WGA strike hasn’t shut down the post-department. CHUD has confirmed reports that the anticipated I Am Legend was reshooting as late as last week.

With a release date a month away, it’s uncommon, but not unheard of for a movie to make a move like this. It’s a good assumption that something this late in the game was handed down from high up which means it could be based on genuine artistic merit or unreliable test screenings. Keep your fingers crossed that it’s the former.

If you’re not totally sold on this movie yet, which you should be, then maybe the trailer for The Dark Knight is reason enough to get your reject self over to the Cineplex and shell out your cash on opening night. If you do, wave when you see me there.
