I promise you this... is all M. Night's handiwork. And if I didn't know the original series, I night be tempted to agree with all of you. He has made it a Norse and Viking mythology plus bending "based on martial arts movies" thing. I say thing because I'm probably not allowed to say anything stronger. He has wiped out the Avatar...and "the Chosen One" rises from that crypt it's been in since The Forbidden Kingdom and Dragonball. He has reawakened...the Russian monk, son of Star Wars Boy. He has substituted his lightsaber for a piece of wood, if didin't see him in the sea of shiny white candles. Think on the "originality" of M Night's idea. Yup. I promise you this… is all M.
