The Joker Believes in Harvey Dent. Do You? **Updated with Pic of the Joker**

The folks over at Warner Brothers, the lucky SOBs connected with the marketing of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight, seem to have launched a viral marketing campaign that is, as the guys in the Guinness commercials would say, BRILLIANT! By now I am certain that you have seen the photo of Aaron Eckhart has Harvey Dent posted the other day:

That photo can be seen at IBelieveinHarveyDent.com. Today we see a site called IBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com which seems to be tainted by the hand of the Joker. What is neat is that you can enter your email address and be sent a code that, if you follow the directions, allows you to clear away one more pixel of the top picture to reveal what is underneath. The photo underneath appears to be a first look at the Joker, as Merrick speculates on AICN, but we won’t know until enough people hop on over to the site and play along. So what are you waiting for people? Whether this is real or not; Whether this will give us the first look at Heath Ledger as The Joker or not; this is quite fun! Let’s do it up.

And to those at WB… If this is your doing, I tip my hat to you. Brilliant, indeed.

Update: After some many hours of people entering email addresses to reveal the picture of Heath Ledger’s Joker, the following has begun circulating the interwebs…

Another Update: A much higher resolution version below, thanks to Microbefox.
