The Final ‘Twilight’ Poster Is Here…
Movie Marketing By Rob Hunter on October 7, 2008 | (40) Comments
Summit Entertainment is due to make a killing at the box-office next month (and for the next few months after I’m sure) with the release of Twilight, and today they’ve released the final one-sheet poster via the folks at Cinematical. Take a gander at it in all its Photoshop glory to the right, then join me below for a discussion…
So, first thought? Kristen Stewart looks blissfully unaware of the zombie preparing to enter her from behind. Second thought? With all the money this movie is due to make you’d think Summit could afford to hire a marketing department familiar enough with Photoshop as to avoid turning Robert Pattinson into a pink-eared corpse. Seriously, is Edward supposed to be that deathly pale? And why is blood only flowing to his ears? And could Bella look any less interested in the vampire at her back door? Other than these few nitpicks, the poster looks awesome!
I’d normally use this space to tell you more about Twilight, but if you’re not already familiar with the film or the book series it’s based on then you’ve done an admirable job of avoiding movie news for the past several months. You’re probably not the targeted demographic of girls and their mothers either. (Yes, I know some boys have supposedly read it too, but c’mon, they’re the exceptions that prove the rule.) And speaking of vampires, have you seen Let the Right One In? Now that’s a vampire movie done right.
What do you think of the final Twilight Poster?
