It had it's fair share of problems, it wasn't a complete waste of time. Imax is big and makes everything look nice, Keanu Reeve's stonefacedness suits this role and I haven't watched the original so I liked most of the story. That said I find something to like in almost every movie I watch so that doesn't say much for me as a critic... I am disappointed that TDTESS didn't do as well as predicted. It isn't that bad. I watched The Day The Earth Stood Still on Imax, and actually thought it was pretty fun. It had it's fair share of problems, it wasn't a complete waste of time. Imax is big and makes everything look nice, Keanu Reeve's stonefacedness suits this role and I haven't watched the original so I liked most of the story.

That said I find something to like in almost every movie I watch so that doesn't say much for me as a critic…
