The Curious Case of the New Watchmen Photo

Watchmen Banner!!!

Was it naive of me to believe I wasn’t going to have to write that much more about Watchmen since we’re only a month and change away from seeing it? Probably. Is it also naive of me that I don’t know where to purchase a grappling hook gun? Definitely. If anyone can help me out with that information, that would be awesome.

Our friends over at Slashfilm hipped us to a very cool new picture from Entertainment Weekly of our old crazy pal Rorschach from Watchmen about to bust a grappling hook through the night air and up into The Comedian’s apartment near the beginning of the story:

Where does he get those wonderful toys?

Director Zack Snyder also used the occasion to announce the launch of a website for his film company – Cruel and Unusual Films. It all looks pretty slick. Obviously, the main focus of the site right now is on Watchmen, and there are some cool extras and images hanging around if you dig for them.

So, can anyone get me a grappling hook gun?

  • SOLD.
  • I really hope this movie delivers the goods... I can totally see me being disappointed though...
  • i like the trailer i saw today "if the narrator sounds exactly like batman maybe, just maybe, people will think this movie is good." Every time I see a trailer for Watchmen everyone in the theaters looks over at whoever they came with and has the same expression they did when seeing the hell boy 2 trailer.
