I am in awe of what Heath Ledger has done with the Joker. Ledger paid a heavy psychological price for his genius which may have indirectly led to his demise. But he gave his audience a deep, dark glimpse into what evil really means which goes far beyond anything anyone could have imagined coming out of a comic figure.

this movie has tremendous potential, considering chris nolan takes his time making his movies something worth watching. as for heath ledger- he looks realistic and true to what the movie resonates, while not taking away from the personality our beloved comic book joker. and speaking of which- the recent comic book batman confidential has their own interpretation of how the joker was born- including how his cheeks were slashed open into a smile, almost a direct nod to nolans new joker look. good times, my friend. its gonna be a hoot-a-nanny…

I think Heath Ledgers Joker lokks great. I I love how realistic he looks. He looks like he was really dumped into a vat of chemicals istead of jest wearing makeup. His laugh is great to. I also really like the new storyline.

I’m usually a huge Superman fan with Batman coming in a close second, but seriously the new Bat Movies blow away the new Superman one by Bryan Singer. I love what they’ve done and what they are planning to do with the Bat-franchise – this is where the movies should have been all along. Now if only they can find someone to un-f up what Singer and his cronies did and make a decent Superman film I’d be one happy fanboy.

BTW – Ledger as the Joker (particularly the LOOK of the Joker) is just awesome

Who hates the make-up? It’s the only original thing done w/ the Joker in 20 years.

Dig the plot, the first one had a tight script.

I think Heath will be a great Joker. The new photo of Ledger looks fantastic, I really like that scary look and the spoiler plot fits to that Joker.
