i think that black cat is completly inappropriate 4 children (FOR EXAMPLE MY 9 YR OLD SON WHO IS A HUGE FAN) to be watching a woman who has her breasts exposed and in tight leather who looks like shes going on a porn convention. i sadly will not be taking my son to see this when it comes out in a year.A VERY ANGRY & CONCERNED PARENT A.FIERRO

Once again it sounds like they are trying to stuff the bag too full so that none of the villians get any time on screen to build up their prescence. The Dark Knight showed that by focusing on one villian at a time pays off in the end. Didn't they learn this from SpiderMan 3?

He still ends up with MJ. Why not build on that relationship rather than
have him put more of a strain on it with Felicia Hardy? With all that has
gone on in the first three movies they would be closer now. I know that in
the comics there is a constant strain on their relationship, but they are
still together. If MJ is his true love like she is in the comics, I don't
think that he would be trying to stray. In the comics he and the Black
Cat/Felicia Hardy had a romance, but it was while MJ and Peter weren't
together. If they are going to keep tearing MJ and Peter apart then when are
they going to come together?

That scenario could work. I just hope that the story dosen't become too conveluded. Maybe the undisclosed role that Bruce Campbell is in will be Morbius! A long shot, but with the recent vampire fad it may be feasable. Raimi could also get into his horror roota little bit with that plot also. I just hope that he sticks to simple, classic villains like Electro, Mysterio or Kraven for this one. A character that all of the comic fans can instantly be interested in. We saw in the third film that it dosen't matter how cool a villain is (VENOM), if you stick with a classic (GREEN GOBLIN, DOC OCK, SANDMAN), you can have a fun, engaging movie.

I believe Romola Garai tested for the role of Debra Whitman another love interest of Parker's who worked and went to Empire State University...there was a connection between her, Peter Parker, Felicia Hardy, Micheal Morbius and Dr. Curt Connors....

Peter and Mary-Jane just got back together at the end of the abomination that was Spider-man 3. Why put another strain on their relathionship with another love interest in the mix. It has already been done. Also they wasted Gwen Stacey in part 3, I would hate to see them waste The Black Cat on a dumb, repetative plot-line like this. As far as Rachel McAdams being in the running for the part, that sounds good. I would still like to see The Lizard play a major role. Dr. Connors has been in the background of three films now and I think it is time that his character finally transformed. There is no reason that they couldn't have The Lizard, Bruce Campbell's unknown character and Felicia Hardy in the film. As long as they don't rush thing and just set up the other characters for a run in the next film(s).
