Wow. So many great names not mentioned... but I am glad that Glee is in – FINALLY 30 Rock has been dominating EVERYTHING – it's time for a fresh face. Found this hilarious write up where they explain screenwriting using the movie Dodgeball as an example: http://tictacdo.com/ttd/Write-a-Hollywood-Blockbuster Anyway, congrats to all these amazing talents. This year will definitely be worth watching.

well i like the selection this year though i havent watched most of the movies yet. i really loved 'inglorious basterds' and i say christopher waltz should get the golden globe and an oscar.<br>'dexter' should also win in its categories especially John Lithgow. i dont know why they keeping nominating Anna Paquin only, when it comes to'true blood', her character irritates me. Ryan kwanten should have the nom...his character is rather intense atleast it was in season one.<br>i hope 'precious' wins..the preview alone makes my chest tight. As for 'Up in the air'..the preview just didnt do it for me..there is something very familiar about it but ill still watch it to confirm. oh yeah 'District 9' should get the goldedn globe as well.....

Sandra Bollock got 2 nominations?!? AND ONE IS FOR THE FUCKING PROPOSAL?!?!?!?! COME ON! There must have been some other actress they could have found to get that nomination. Off the top of my head, Zooey Deschanel for 500 Days of Summer. In fact, all the nominees for that particular category (save Meryl Streep, the one shining star of Julie and Julia) seem a little out of place.<br><br>Besides that, eh, seems like what I expected. I say The Hurt Locker for best Drama (I haven't yet seen Avatar, Up in the Air, or Precious yet though, so take it as you will) and The Hangover for best Comedy/Musical (again, I haven't seen It's Complicated or Nine yet)

Up in Air seemed like a total dud judging from the previews (and the fact that George Clooney stars in it) - but now that the GG nominations are out, I just may go and see that

Why is Julia Roberts nominated? Really. I'm kinda upseat Abbie Cornish didn't get a nad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll get an Oscar nod for Bright Star. I really don't see Sandra B. getting an Oscar nod.
