Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins with a Teaser
First Look By Neil Miller on July 16, 2008 | (16) Comments
We had previously published the rumors that a teaser trailer for McG’s Terminator Salvation would be preceding The Dark Knight this weekend, and it appears that not only were we right, but the trailer has also been released online. The teaser, which can be seen below or in HD over on Yahoo! Movies, features our first look at Christian Bale as John Connor. As well, if you wait long enough, you will also get a look at one of Connor’s new foes.
I don’t know about you, but I get the feeling that this could turn out to be a pretty badass ride. We have talked ourselves in circles around McG’s directorial prowess (or lack thereof), but I get the feeling that he is more than capable of delivering a solid Terminator flick. This could be similar to Michael Bay taking on Transformers — he isn’t the most beloved or consistently successful director in the business, but he just might be the right guy for this particular film. Time will tell, but with a solid cast and some hinting at cool designs, McG seems to be on his way.
Terminator Salvation will hit theaters on May 22, 2009. For more, be sure to stay tuned to our Comic-Con Coverage, as we expect to see even more of this film when we are in San Diego.
What do you think of the first teaser for Terminator Salvation?
