That gas station was built from scratch at Mesa del Sol in Albuquerque. It is home to Albuquerque Studios. Google both ABQ Studios and Mesa del Sol to find out more. They are also filming a few other scenes there, including some with a Saab jet…

No, I do like the ending to T3. I’m glad they didn’t show the statue of liberty melting and kept it they way it was. I agree that people were wrong to criticize the ending.

I’m sure this film has set-up a strike backup production company that they can transfer into if a strike occurs.

Mcg has a deadline and they want this ready next summer. There not stopping no matter what.

T3 was great. Is that why so many don’t like it (the nuclear war). I thought that was awesome. It made the film feel real. When Terminator said “it happens in less than 6 hours” I was like “shit, I don’t think their gonna stop Skynet”. Great stuff.

What stresses McG out is he doesn’t have Michael Bay’s “Awesome” button. But maybe he has something better– the “McG Time” button.

Although I don’t exactly have high hopes for “Salvations” (despite the presence of high-caliber actor Christian Bale), I like the fact that the filmmakers actually *want* to shoot the film and won’t stop at nothing, it seems.

Like you said, though, it is *never* a good sign when they are rushing through the scenes. McG must be stressed like hell… (that could make the action scenes feel more… uh… intense, though…)
