The folks at Warner Bros., who are no doubt excited about the impending release of Terminator Salvation, have unleashed an awesome new 4-minute internet trailer for the film. This new clip starts out with some interaction between Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) and Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin). It then rolls into some heavy action as they team up to find John Connor (Christian Bale) and his resistance fighters.

Now, I know that we are all caught up with the rush of an awesome new Star Trek movie this week, but I would like to continue to assert my stance that Terminator Salvation is going to be a wicked fuckin’ ride. Director McG appears to have captured a grit and intensity that is beyond anything we’ve seen from him. He’s also assembled a ridiculously talented cast, all the way down to Common, Moon Bloodgood and Bryce Dallas Howard.

I would urge you to stop whatever it is that you are doing and check out the new internet trailer below. Then head over to Apple and watch it again in HD. Terminator Salvation is in theaters on May 21, 2009.

  • OMFG that was beyond epic
  • Pete at /Film says this basically gives the whole movie away. Does it? (Haven't watched it yet).

Yeah, I'm holding off on watching this for now...unless I know it doesn't really give away the movie.
  • Yep, just about.
  • Why in the hell would they release something like that?

    Vic
  • Most people just love to be spoiled, I guess. I'll admit, even though it shows a lot, I loved every minute of it. But yes, I wish I've had more restraint when it comes to watching trailers like that.
  • Oh, man. This just keeps looking better and better. Better than T2? It may actually be possible.
  • VICE
For the time that T2 was made- it changed action cinema forever...
and it's james cameron! McG has A LONG WAY to go before I would even suggest that his movie is better that a classic...
although I am totally looking forward to this film...it just feels so much easier to process nowadays with all the CGI we see in movies...
    T2 felt original and groundbreaking...
this feels like what T3 should have been...
