*'Sleepless in Seattle': even explains the concept of chick-flicks. Not nauseatingly-sappy.

*'Princess Bride': Robyn Wright (*ugh*-Penn) is absolutely gorgeous. I think the inspiration for 'Lisa', in 'Team America' came from her…also, the idea of having Sean Penn eaten alive by panthers. Great sword-fight scene.

*'Father of the Bride': creepy, reverse-Electra complex thing, bordering on incest.

*'Pretty Woman': AWFULL film–most guys (of any PC-persuasion, even chauvanist pigs) hate it, but most women (even 'womyn' feminists) like it. Most REAL hos are gross, makeup-deprived, drug-addled, clap-infected, borderline homely…and sometimes guys. Johns tend to be even worse.

*'Knocked Up': worth watching for many reasons, but mostly for the seizure-inducing cuteness of Leslie Mann's utterly adorable kids. Also, both Mann and Heigl are hot.

*'The Devil Wears Prada': a favorite, along with 'Gossip Girl', of pantyhose-fetish blogs. VERY large male viewership.

My suggestions:

*'Great Expectations' (Alfonso Cuaron): a 'guy' movie, masquerading as a chick-flick.

*'Phantom of the Opera': Emmy Rossum's decolletage, sword-fight scenes.

*'Meet Joe Black': Jack Parrish is the man every man wants to be; Clair Forlani is in it. Also, food-porn.

*'Moulin Rouge': Not just gay men, but straight men appreciate the content (Nicole Kidmann's legs).

*'Man on Fire': Dakota Fanning is cute as the dickens (“I love you, Creasy!”) and Denzel Washington does some good damage (I liked the C4 suppository).

*'Fairytale': the little leads are too cute for words; Harvey Keitel and Peter O'Toole are in it, so it's okay for guys to watch.

*'Attonement': Keira Knightley and war content make this acceptable for male audiences.

You’re incorrect, of course, once again. Massacre 2 is the only one of the series that ISN’T a romantic comedy. But I will agree that when Lefty locks eyes with Chop Top, there really is something special going on. I didn’t cry, but, you know, I wanted to.

One of the more surreal moments of christmas last year was me and my uncle watching Serendipity late at night, and it’s just a fun film, and pretty much everything John Cusack is in by definition makes it watchable.
