"…and goes way over budget on projects". More like on PROJECT sir. Kill bill went over budget by a few million (11 I think), but then was split into two films…. so I dont think that was really a problem. To MY knowledge that is his only over budget film. But you say he goes over budget on projects. So what are they, and how do you know

I'm sure Cannes will accept the film in whatever state it's in. They seem to love QT about as much as he loves them. If I remember correctly, Wong Kar-Wai's follow-up to "In The Mood For Love," "2046," was accepted into the festival even though the film was still being edited up until the day it was to screen at the festival.

I'm not much of a Tarantino fan either… but, having read the script for "Basterds," I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious.
