The title can be either Superman: Man of Steel or Superman Unleashed they both sound really good I think and hopefully you can use both by making another sequel. ^_^
I would like to see Luthor trying to become the president like in the JLA cartoon series. I would like to see Brainiac in this film and have him infect Luthor turning Luthor into Brainiac for the third Superman Film. That would be Awesome! Also would like to see Supes fly so fast he turns back time again. :)
For this movie have Luthor help Superman against Brainiac so he can try going for president and seem like a good guy to the people. Then have a teaser for a 3rd film by have Luthor start working with the government on a project called Doomsday.

The primary colors are fine for the comic book Superman but the new colors worn in "Superman Returns" helps to create a sense of reality to Superman's story. While watching the movie the subdued colors caused me to forget that he is a fictional character and to believe that he really does exist.

No doubt about it. Superman: The Man of Steel. Nothing stirs the soul than a righteous man standing his ground against a foe of us all. Man and steel are elements of moral fibre. This what will carry the movie through the action. Unleashed is as someone stated is rage, it simply doesnt fit the Superman mythos. And please in the next costume make that gay port wine/burgundy colour more RED! I think half the reason Returns did not do as well was the COLOUR impact onscreen which has burned into our conscious for 50 years. Sure bring in new stories, new actors, even costume BUT leave the primary colours well alone! RED YELLOW BLUE DAZZLING BLUR. Get the picture?

I think trotting out Doomsday so soon in a reboot effort would be a bad idea… Really, where do you go from there? That should be after we've become more attached to the rebooted Supes. Instead it should be a villain that can give and take a lot of punishment. I think a baddie like Parasite, Mongul (alien invasion), or Metallo would be a better move. Maybe lead up to Braniac.

The problem with all the Superman movies in terms of action is the fact that there aren't any villians that have powers to match Supermans such as in the comic. Without the "challenge" it just seems that they have to fall back on placing people he cares for in danger and have him save them. After 5 movies that has worn very thin.

Here's a concept perhaps they haven't thought about, how about they adapt the movie EXACTLY like the stories from the comics. Novel concept huh? I give up on the franchise till they come around to this way of thinking.

I think that is an excellent point. Maybe Singer just needs time to get comfortable with the character. If they bring Chris Tucker on this thing, I promise a revolt.
