Sundance 2010: Ryan Reynolds is Buried, And He Needs Our Help
Movie News By Neil Miller on January 21, 2010 | (4) Comments
Saturday night will be the world’s first chance to see the Rodrigo Cortés directed film Buried, which is one of the more fascinating films of the 2010 Sundance line-up. In all likelihood, I will be there to see what happens when a crowd sees Ryan Reynolds, all alone in a box for the first time. It should be quite a treat. Or it will be an awful experience. Could go either way.
Until then, we have a new trailer and poster for the film, which you can see without being here in Park City. The prospect of such an ambitious, single character, single setting, claustrophobia-inducing is great. The risk is also sizable. The trailer below is simple and expository in a way that doesn’t allude to anything else about the movie. This man is trapped in a box, and he needs our help. We’ll see if we’re still willing to give said help after Saturday night.
