i think the movie was great but i do believe they could've added more details of the book. Then again i found the movie good because i never really expected it to be as good and detailed as the book. so if you were expecting the movie to be exactly like the book you are seriously going to be dissapointed. plus you can kind of tell they really didn't have a good budget to begin with. Let's just hpoe they do justice to New Moon.

I think it'll depend on how they handle the story. Non-readers might end up preferring Jacob because he'll be the main focus for the majority of the movie. There is a huge opportunity to improve on the franchise and I hope they take advantage by slowing down. Also, I'm thankful we'll have no fiber optic vampire skin….lol…oh man, the giggles abounded.

aggreeeed! they just need to slow down in this one. i loved the movie but everything was way too rushed and the scenes were so short.

Twilight was ok, and Cole's review was dead on. The pursuit leading to the final conflict was rushed and probably wouldn't make much sense to someone who hasn't read the book. As far, as the sequel … how will non-readers deal with the temporary disappearance of a major character?

The end of New Moon is what I'm excited to see on screen we get to meet some very interesting vampires and I hope they don't rush that scene like they did the ballet studio set up.

I honestly don't buy the small budget agruement. The horrible wire work comes to mind instantly. It was an uneeded expense and made those scenes laughable. I can't believe Catherine chose to keep the tree climbing scene. There are plenty of good movies out there with small budgets and managed to tell a good story. I was entertained by Twilight, but I think there were poor decisions made in its execution.

I'm all for a sequel as well, but hopefully this time the film gets a bigger budget, part of the problem it was so bad was the small budget it got in the first place.

I'm all for a sequel, only if they do it better than this one. Very disappointed in this one. if felt like those movies you see on the Sci-Fi channel and very rushed.
Alice was smokin btw, so, so hot!
