Suit Up: ‘Men in Black 3D’ Continues Being Developed
In Development By Scott Beggs on April 21, 2010 | (4) Comments
Last Fall, we reported that Etan Cohen would be taking his comedy writing skills to Sony with Men in Black 3(D). A few months later, we reported that Josh Brolin was in talks to team up with Will Smith for the film.
Now, Showbiz 411 is confirming that, yes, that is still the case apparently.
Although there’s nothing new in the story, it acts as a gentle reminder that Sony and Barry Sonenfeld are still plugging away and waiting for Cohen’s script.
Men in Black was one of the properties that really catapulted Sony to massive prominence after their restructure in the mid-90s.
All I can say is it’s nice to see a comic book adaptation finally up on the big screen. Studios should really think about doing more with that genre.
What do you think?
