This means that age and style of acting are eroneous for casting. Jack Nicolson could play the role for all the fidelity that Spielberg is likely to have to the original. Personally I think Hanks could do it, but I would like to see a new face. As unpopular as this might be, Ryan Reynolds might not be a bad idea. Depending on how his performance goes in 'Buried', he might prove to be a great solo actor.
