Star Wars: The Clone Wars Asajj Ventress

Remember what I said when I put together the list of the 15 Must See Movies of Summer 2008: If it’s Star Wars, you are required to see it. Therefore, come August 15th you should find yourself on your way to your local cineplex to catch the animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. From there, you will have the right to bash George Lucas as much as you want, assuming the animated flick turns out to be anything like the second trilogy.

No matter, there is still hope that this could be a heaping pile of awesome, as the animation looks pretty slick and as I mentioned before, it is Star Wars. To feed your hunger for more of the force, we would like to offer up some new media from the film, including a brand new shot of bald headed hottie villainess Asajj Ventress, which was released by USA Today this morning, and a new teaser poster for the film, which we picked up from StarWars.com:

  • I think to keep making installments for a dead franchise is a lame idea.
  • brent
star wars will never be dead my friend, there is enough content in licensed publications to make another 20 movies easy, and i assure you all of those would be 100mil movies without breaking a sweat

I am with you Brent, this might be a chance(Clone Wars)but Star Wars will always be here...way after any of these other crappy movies,Spiderman so crappy
  • While the fans are making there own films STAR WARS will never die. I'm hoping there will be more live action lucas feature films set in a galaxy far away. Lucas has said he was finished with the Star Wars story, but now we have two TV series coming, so why not a young Han Solo trilogy or a Rouge Squadron movie or the JarJar Binks Comedy Hour? But seriously, I'm sure I heard something about a year ago about a movie set about a thousand years before Episode 1. Anyway, I'm looking forwrd to Clone Wars.
