Stan Lee to Create New Legion of Superheroes
Movie News By Brian C. Gibson on April 16, 2008 | (2) Comments
Stan “The Man” Lee, the 85 year old genius that created some of our most beloved superheroes, plans to make some new characters for the fanboys to drool over. Lee has had his hand in Marvel’s Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk and Daredevil. So suffice it to say, it will be pretty tough to follow his own reputation in this endeavor.
Lee’s company POW! Entertainment along with Brighton Partners, have joined forces with Rainmaker Entertainment to create a new superhero franchise called “The Legion of 5.” POW! already has three projects lined up, “Nick Ratchet”, “Blaze” and “Tigress (working title)”. Rainmaker’s CEO Warren Franklin has said “We are hoping to develop a strong franchise with the characters.” More details will be revealed at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
