noah-wyle-1

Steven Spielberg was probably abducted at a young age, because this dude is seriously all about aliens.  This time around he’s passing on friendly, Reese’s Pieces loving wrinkled-raisin aliens and ignoring Crystal Skulled space travelers to focus on what happens when big, bad aliens show up on Earth and unleash some kick-ass on our puny human race.  Sounds good, right?

The untitled pilot is being prepped for TNT and Spielberg has hand-picked Noah Wyle to star as the lead.  The series would follow a small group of human resistance fighters trying to beat down their alien invaders 6 months after they came in guns blazing.  Any time aliens stop being coy and asking about our leader and start blowing things up with lasers, I’m on board.  We’ll keep you abreast (giggles!) of any new info about this potentially super-awesome project.  You can also check out EW for jokes about The Librarian which we’re too classy to make.

Does Noah Wyle do it for you as leader of the human resistance?
