Jurassic Park being one of my all time favorites.. but in the last 10 years he has definitely given us crap. They haven't been horrible movies but they are not praiseworthy... I guess what makes me upset is that the hollywood critics will let him piss out bad movies and still get on their knees and plead for a throat shot. <br><br>Take AI: Artificial Intelligence for example: I don't remember a movie to this day that the critics acclaimed so highly. The reviews were off the chart... Went and saw it opening night to a packed screening and everyone booed at the end. I've never been to a movie where people have booed. That movie was god-awful. <br><br>Or the latest Indy film.. don't really have to explain that one. Most of the big critics praised it but America, surprisingly, didn't buy into it... <br><br>I'm tired of having movies getting praise because of who directed it... I'm skeptical about seeing Avatar..
