Anne Hathaway would be a great Black Cat, putting her in any other role would be a waste. The fans want to see their favorite characters from the comics come to life, not some second rate, made-up character. X-Men: The last Stand had the same problem. There are so many characters to choose from why not include them in the movie instead of creating new ones for the film! I'm getting off the subject, sorry. Furthermore Dylan Baker's character Dr. Connors should definately transform in this installment. His character has been established in the first three films and it is time to deliver on that plot. I know that there are casual movie fans who don't know or care about the Lizard character or know that Connors is his alter ego, but comic fans do, and that is something that has been a teaser since the first film. I think that Malkovich would do a great job as Vulture, but I have always envisioned Ben Kingsley taking on that role. In any case over populating this movie with villains could ruin it. The last film had a lot of problems, but in my opinion the biggest by far was the cluttered villains. With essencially three nemesis for Spider-man to defeat it seemed almost impossible. Not to mention the under developed stories of Venom and Sandman. The first two films worked because of the attention and time given to the Villains as well as the main characters. Without proper plot and character developement this film will be as bad as the third. Hopefully Raimi will come through and deliver a quality movie and redeem himself for the atrocity that was Spider-man 3!
