Okay there is no need to post anything else about his alligences. He started out as a Decepticon, but changes to the Autobots side. It HAS been confirmed that he will be in the next movie, that he transformes into an SR-71 Blackbird, and that he combines with Optimus Prime just like did in the cartoons and comics.

Jetfire began as a Decepticon and switched sides both in the comic and in the cartoon. I've read this will be the same in the upcoming movie. It makes sense since that was part of what made his story so interesting originaly. So I like the depiction of him here as a Decepticon.

That's not jetfire that's actually been confirmed to be optimus and jetfire combined… If you look at the toy Jetfire looks nothing like that.
