This would be the 4th attempted director to The Flash film.

1st. David Goyer 2006
2nd. Shawn Levy 2007
3rd. David Dobkin 2008 and 2009
4th. Greg Berlanti 2010

Will they stick with this guy or drop him and for go a 5th director to The Flash film? Greg Berlanti is the co-writer and co-producer to,"Green Lantern" so I think it's all a wild rumor. They are rushing these comic book films through without taking their time. Now they want Chris Nolen to make a Justice League film. It will ruin the Batman universe. I think it's a bad idea for Batman to make the Batman director make Justice League. He is not another Geoff Johns. The Flash was suppose to be made in 2006 with Ryan Reynolds as Wally West. It never happend and it's 4 years later. They really should concentrate their attension on Green Lantern first before going to another superhero film.

This could be a good thing, he may not be afraid to try going in certain directions that more established directors would be. I mean look at Jon Favreau he did a great job with Iron Man (and hopefully IM2) but he doesn't have an established resume.

Plus i was a big fan of Eli Stone. :) So good luck to him.

i'm not going to diss the guy. so what if he doesn't have a directing resume longer than he is tall. that could be a good thing. some experienced directors are so full of themselves and their long resume that they think they are brilliant and they totally screw the source material on this kind of project. but newer folks don't. and Greg seems to have a decent sense of humor for the mildly absurd if Eli is any sign(do not mistake lower scores in the shoddy and vastly aged ratings system for 'under watched')
so for me it is neither here nor there until I see the movie. then I will praise or diss based on the results. rather than prejudge the film cause the guy doesn't have 6 Oscar Noms, a Golden Globe and a Swiss Villa to run to when he is escaping statutory rape charges
