‘Social Network’ Will Poke Us in October
Movie News By Cole Abaius on December 8, 2009 | (2) Comments
At some point, you’ll be able to place a reminder on your gcalendar, set an alarm on your iPhone, and tell all your friends on LinkedIn (or on your Xanga, if you’re Neil), but for now you’ll just have to go tell it on the mountain that The Social Network will hit our eyeballs in October.
Per Coming Soon, the David Fincher-directed, Aaron Sorkin-written, Backstreet Boy-starring movie will go wide on October 15th. Finally a ballsy competitor to the Saw franchise that might just be as scary! Or as torture porny. Or just poky.
What does this mean? That it’s either being eyed as an Oscar contender to start off the early Awards season blitz or it doesn’t mean anything at all.
My guess is the latter.
What do you think?
