Sly Stallone Hangs On as ‘The Expendables’ Hits Cannes

The production blog for Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming action film The Expendables has posted a brand new image from the film that features Sly holding on for dear life to a plane that appears to be flying away. Yet another awesome action shot from probably one of the most anticipated films of next year — and even though it’s next year’s film, we just can’t stop talking about it.

Anyway, check out the new image below (click to enlarge):

As well, the production blog also laid down a few smaller photos taken around Cannes of some promotional art for the film. If you ask me, this promo art might be the most badass thing we’ve seen from this film — a film that oozes badass.

The Expendables is scheduled to hit theaters on April 23, 2010. It will star Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brittany Murphy, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Eric Roberts and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

    From what i read up on the production blog, Danny Trejo is no longer attached to the project.
  • Why isn't Danny Trejo no longer attacked to the project, well because he has the swine flu because he Mexican just like me who caught from his swine flu infection Mexican family over he Mexican but I'm just a half Mexican living in Texas, so I don't got the swine flu because my Japanese father kicked out my Mexican mother, all her Mexican family because he doesn't want them here for now cause he thinks we're get the swine flu from their Mexican bodies that maybe has the swine flu. Way to go, Japanese dad! For real, I am half Japanese, half Mexican and am half pound of it.
