John Singleton Wants Woody!

Director John Singleton says he wants Woody Harrelson to star as Murdock in his film, The A-Team.

FSR friends over at Joblo.com got the skinny on rumors we’ve been hearing about casting the film which is based on the 80s TV series. Singleton says the rumors are untrue except “the only person I want right now is … Woody Harrelson to play Murdock — the guy who is crazy but he’s kind of real smart, a jack of all trades.”

Singleton is adamant and says Harrelson is the actor he “really, really wants” and that rumors about other casting, including Ice Cube as B.A. Baracus, are apparently untrue. We can always hope.

Describing to Collider.com what the movie will be like, Singleton says it’ll be “no nonsense but with a humor, with action. You know what I mean, wall to wall kicking ass and talking shit.”

FSR hopes Singleton gets his Woody.

Talking Points: What do you think about Harrelson possibly being the next Murdock?
