Funky guns, bulldozers being dropped on cars, and pyrotechnics galore. These are the things that you’ll find in this Splash News video from the set of The Green Hornet. The video features mostly the stunt work and crew hard at work, blowing shit up and destroying expensive property in the desert. These are the things we like to see.

Although we do see Seth Rogen taking a funky jaunt with his latte, no signs yet of Bill Adama (or, Edward James Olmos to the uninitiated). All in all, a fun first look at what’s sure to be an interesting take on this retro comic book hero and his world.

Scheduled for a December, 2010 release, Columbia Pictures’ The Green Hornet will star funnyman Seth Rogen, Edward James Olmos, Tom Wilkinson, Christoph Waltz, Jay Chou and the lovely Cameron Diaz. More importantly, Michel Gondry is directing the film. We’re pretty sure that we’re in for a wild ride. What do you think?

Hey, if Gondry and Waltz are in, I'm in.

Unfortunately, they could not have made a worst casting choice to play Bret Reed aka The Green Hornet. I don't even find Seth Rogen to be very funny, much less someone with the necessary charisma to play such a dashing physical character as The Green Hornet. Just my opinion, he could prove us all wrong, but I seriously doubt it.
