Wolfman-TP_0049R

Today we were greeted with the second trailer for 2010′s The Wolfman remake, starring Benicio Del Toro as a slightly less hairy version of himself and Anthony Hopkins as Santa Claus.  I kid, I kid.  What we do get is a second, rocking glimpse at a movie that is looking better and better the more we see of it.  There isn’t an entirely clear picture of the Wolfman himself, but we get to see a good bit of his transformation and a preview of how fast he can kick your ass – real fast.  One thing’s for sure, the Wolfman is a badass who will tear your head off.  Take a look.

Not bad right?  Hugo Weaving is looking awesome as Detective Aberline, though it didn’t look like he was loading silver bullets so he may be in for a world of hurting.  As a trailer, I thought that was pretty badass.  Definitely some sweet background music going on (rock!), a decent amount of action, a dose of Emily Blunt.  What more can you ask for?  As a movie, The Wolfman is steadily making its way up the “Most Anticipated List.”  Could we be in for a good remake, nay, a good werewolf film?  Color me excited for this one.

The Wolfman tears into theaters on February 20th, 2010.
