Robert Fure just checked in with me once again with yet another video blog from his hotel room in San Diego. This time he’s got a preview/review of some raw footage that was shown Saturday night for Give ‘Em Hell, Malone, starring Thomas Jane and Ving Rhames. As you may remember, we’ve been tracking this film for quite a while as there are a few friends of the site involved, including Tim Bradstreet who served as production designer. Check out the film’s synopsis below:

A tough as nails private investigator (Malone) squares off with gangsters and their thugs to protect a valuable secret. Malone goes through hell to protect the information but he dishes some hell as well…

And now, the video blog from Mr. Fure, who reacts quite positively to the raw footage from Malone, from director Russell Mulcahy.

Be sure to stay tuned for more coverage from Comic-Con from Robert as we get caught up on everything that he saw. Just keep your clicks heading toward our Comic-Con 2009 Homepage.

  • I read the shooting script and really liked it, so I was already planning on seeing this flick when it hits. You're right though... the hot Asian assassin who may or may not be concealing weapons in her bajango is a definite selling point for me. As is the action, humor, and goofball heroics of Thomas Jane.
  • Do I always looks like I just ate a bag of marbles? WTF is up with my face?

tim bradstreet? same dude that does the art for the punisher?
  • One and the same. Tim Bradstreet and Tom Jane are very close friends and work on a lot of stuff together. Bradstreet drew the posters for Malone and also designed the opening credits.

A lot of humor; a lot of action... I would love to have seen a lot of hummers, a lot of action.

We loved it, and it seemed as though most of the crowd at Comic Con did, too. Can't wait to see it on the big screen!
  • Mr. Fure, you looked tired as hell, bro

Who the heck is Tim Bradstreet? I worked on the film and he wasn't the production designer on 1st unit in Spokane.
